Teri Lash-Ritter, MD, was named President of Akron General and Lodi hospitals, and President of the South Submarket of the Northeast Ohio Market on Feb. 1, 2025. Dr. Lash-Ritter has been the Chief Medical Officer at Akron General and Lodi hospitals since 2019. Previously, she was the Associate Chief Experience Officer for Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals and the Associate Chief Experience Officer for Akron General. She is a board-certified family medicine physician.  In her role, Dr. Lash-Ritter works closely with institute and market leaders to develop a plan for strategic coordination of care and services that best meet the needs of patients in the South Submarket. She manages the daily needs at the hospital and outpatient locations, and focuses on enhancing patient, physician and caregiver experience. In addition, Dr. Lash-Ritter is responsible for financial and operational performance for Akron General and Lodi hospitals and the South Submarket.
